If something happens to upset the balance, the bad bacteria can grow rapidly and symptoms such as itching, a watery grey dismissal and the characteristic "fishy" smell are present. Ironically, overwashing can be one of the causes of bacterial vaginosis and this is often what women do repeatedly to get rid of the smell-in actual fact they are production matters worse!

Antibiotics work by killing off bacteria. Unfortunately, they do not discriminate in the middle of harmful and beneficial bacteria. This means that when taken, the antibiotics kill off both types. Once the procedure is terminated and bacteria begins to re-populate the vagina, the bad bacteria grows rapidly and there is no good bacteria to kill it off, so the whole cycle begins again.

This is why over 70% of antibiotic users narrative a recurrence of bacteria vaginosis within just a few weeks.
